FRANKE
In the unlikely event that you should experience any defect in the materials or workmanship, Franke taps are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for 1 year in relation to coatings, finishes and 'O' rings (5 years for Portfolio 55 models), and 5 years in relation to valve mechanisms and working parts. Franke will, where appropriate, provide replacement parts for your tap or replace your tap at their discretion. Franke sinks carry a 50 year Warranty against manufacturing defect. All other parts carry a 1 year Warranty.

CARRON PHOENIX
In the unlikely event that you should experience any defect in the materials or workmanship, Carron Phoenix taps are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for 5 years in relation to coatings, finishes and 'O' rings, and 5 years in relation to valve mechanisms and working parts. Carron Phoenix will, where appropriate, provide replacement parts for your tap or replace your tap at their discretion. Carron Phoenix sinks carry a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defect. All other parts carry a 1 year Warranty.

KWC
KWC taps and soap dispensers are guaranteed for 5 years.

To obtain any parts FOC under Warranty, it may be necessary to provide a dated Proof of Purchase or receipt.

Apart from spare valves, which will eventually wear with use, you can obtain spare handles, O-rings for spouts, replacement spouts, anti-splashes, and most other parts that comprise a Franke, Carron Phoenix or KWC tap. Central Services also stock a comprehensive range of spares and accessories for Franke and Carron Phoenix sinks.

Operationally, ceramic discs can last for the life of the tap. However, water-borne particles or hard water can affect mechanisms. Fitting a new tap can often dislodge foreign matter which has been in your pipework for some time; This can become trapped in the valve, preventing it from operating perfectly. Damaged valves need to be replaced, they are not serviceable.

Do not use abrasive cleaners that may permanently damage the finish of your tap. Use only a soft cloth and mild detergent. Stubborn stains on Chrome or SilkSteel finishes may be removed using Franke Inox cream, obtainable from Central Services.

Refer to the Installation Instructions supplied with your tap. If this is not available, try one of the following:-

1. Undo the small grub-screw at the back of the tap body
2. Unscrew the collar at the base of the spout at the joint with the body
3. Turn spout in line with tap handles to locate bayonet-lug and pull upwards

Your sink is made from high quality 18/10 chrome nickel steel. That means it's metallurgically incapable of rusting or corroding in normal household conditions. If rust and corrosion problems do occur, tiny iron particles deposited on the surface will be the culprit. These either come from the water supply or are left behind by wire scouring pads or utensils. It's essential to clean off these filings and dry the sink thoroughly afterwards. If you let them stick around, they'll cause rust.
